Aspendale Communications helps employers enhance the well-being and performance of their workforce, helping our clients become better leaders.

We partner with mid-size and large employers to help them attract top talent, engage employees, and deliver superior business results. We specialize in leadership and workforce communications, including talent management, workforce health engagement, benefits and compensation, business transformation, and more.

Aspendale was founded in 2004 with the vision of being a virtual team of collaborative staff instead of salaried employees. Team members are self-managed and have the flexibility to choose their work environment and work schedule. Since the firm assigns work based on project requirements, our people have more flexibility in their lives to pursue other projects, allowing for a better lifestyle. This also allows us to focus on client needs, rather than on revenues and salaries, thus delivering better customer service.

Our Systems

We believe in creativity and flexibility. But we also believe in systems that can help us work together and serve clients more effectively and efficiently. That means we don’t just email stuff back and forth. We know not everyone likes systems. But it’s an expectation for everyone on our team to use our tools and be open to new or different tools over time. We use:

  • Google Drive: to collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • DropBox: for file sharing and backup
  • Basecamp: to manage projects, assign tasks to each other, and discuss work
  • Freshbooks: for timekeeping and invoicing
  • Google Apps: for calendar and email
